ATLAS EDITION

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 4 August 2026

Overview

Atlas Edition is a private travel journal. This policy explains what information we collect, why we use it, and the choices you have.

Information you provide

When you create or use an Atlas, you may provide your name, email address, profile handle, trips, places, notes, itineraries, photos, and other content you choose to add.

Google services

When you choose Google sign-in, we receive only the account information needed to create and maintain your Atlas, such as your name, email address, and account identifier. We do not receive or store your Google password.

When you use Google-powered maps, place search, photos, addresses, or route features, we process the search and location details needed to provide that feature. We use this information to operate Atlas Edition and do not sell it or use it for advertising.

How we use information

We use information to create and maintain your account, save and display your travel journal, provide maps and place information, keep the service secure, respond to support requests, and improve reliability.

Sharing and visibility

Your Atlas content is private by default. If you choose to publish or share a trip or place, the information included in that shared page becomes visible to anyone with its link. We may also use trusted providers for hosting, authentication, maps, and place data solely to operate the service.

Your choices

You can update much of your profile and travel content in Atlas Edition. To request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information, contact us at hello@theatlasedition.com.
